"I'm still sad you missed Gustave getting sprayed," she says. Truly. "He's the better target, anyway. Less likely to get mad and less likely to use the elements on us."
She sways Sciel back and forth a little as she thinks.
"Maybe a sort of wild goose hunt?" She offers. Gustave does like finding out answers to things, solutions to problems. Engineers! Some of it has rubbed off on her, so she can only imagine he'd have fun but also go a little crazy trying to figure out their prank.
Somewhere in her mind is a little book of ideas, put together over the years, full of things that have worked and things that would be funny and things just waiting for the opportune moment. Wild goose hunts are rare amongst them –– a prank must be short, in Sciel’s opinion, so it does not wear out its welcome and veer into frustration -– but they do exist.
“Mmm, just tell him an extremely long meandering story, and make him listen to the whole thing,” she murmurs. “And then end it with a pun or some other silly joke.”
